Do You Know Where to Find Real Hope?

Real hope can only be found in our Heavenly Father. He is one step from us at all times. He gives us free will to either choose Him or choose the things of this world. Worldly temptations can distract us from the need for God in our lives. There are moments in our lives that give us the opportunity to hear about this eternal hope. This is one of those moments…the most important decision we can choose is an eternity in heaven with our Lord and Savior.

We don’t have to accept feeling hopeless. There are days that come at us from all sides. Work, family, daily stress…these are all a normal part of life. However we don’t have to feel that we are doing life alone.

The devil wants us to believe that things are hopeless, no one cares, we are worthless and there is no way out. But I am telling you there is hope! Where God is, hope is. Above all, having God in our life does not mean we will not face difficulty…but praise God, He will walk through it with us.

“For I know the plans that I have for you, ‘declares the Lord,’ plans for prosperity and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11

Whether we realize it or not we can’t really live life if we don’t have our eyes on the Lord. For instance, when we lose hope we end up falling for false hopes like our job, our money, astrology and things that can disappear in a heartbeat.

God is our only source of hope that will never change or disappoint. More importantly, when we realize He is all we need no matter our circumstances, He can provide peace, joy and hope in abundance.

I know I need reminded of that kind of hope.

God loves us no matter what we have done or what is in our future. We have a Heavenly Father who loves us more than we could ever imagine! Reach for Him and put your faith in Him. He will give us life and hope everlasting!
